Bracket Format Breakdown
Below is the explanation of how each division will determine a winner, which varies depending on the number of teams entered in each division.

  • For this division, there are two groups of four teams who will play round-robin games against each other (two games Saturday, one game Sunday)

The two winners of each group will play the final Sunday afternoon.

  • For this division, all teams will play round-robin (two games Saturday, one game Sunday) Highest point total wins!

    (No final necessary)

  • These divisions will play round against the other four teams in their bracket - Highest point total wins! (No final necessary)

Three teams will play two games Saturday and two games Sunday. However, two teams from this group will play three games Saturday, and only one on Sunday (with five teams, there must be a "bye" scheduled in each round, hence this scheduling quirk). So be sure to check your schedule carefully.

  • We had so many teams enter the coed recreational and men's intermediate bracket that we had to split each one into two flights (A&B), each with their own champion.

Each of these divisions of six will have two groups of three teams...each team will play round-robin on Saturday against the other two teams in the group.

On Sunday, the two teams that finish first in their group after Saturday's results will play the teams that finished second in the opposite group in the semi-finals on Sunday morning.

The two third place teams will play a consolation game on Sunday. The two winners of the semi-finals will play the final Sunday afternoon.

  • The three teams here will play round robin on Saturday...based on those standings, the team that finishes second will play the team that finishes third on Sunday morning in the semi-final match.

The team that finished first on Saturday will play the winner of the semi-final in the final on Sunday.

  • Two groups in each division...one of four teams, one of three teams. Each team will play round-robin in its group.

Group of three plays both round robin games Saturday.

Group of four plays two games Saturday, one Sunday.

Winners of each group play in the final on Sunday afternoon.

The two second place and two third place teams in each division will also play a consolation game Sunday afternoon, to ensure the other two teams in the smaller group get a third game.

  • This one is a bit complicated. 11 teams is a tough number to work with.

This division will have three groups...two groups of four teams, and another group of three teams.

Each team will play round robin in its group on Saturday.

The three team in group 3 (the group of three teams) will also each get a "bye" win, scored 2-0, to make the total number of available points from all three groups equal.

*The bonus "shutout" point will not be awarded for "bye" wins.

At the end of Saturday, the three group winners will advance to the semi-finals and finals. The group winner with the most points will advance to automatically to the final Sunday afternoon.

(Applicable tiebreakers will be used in order if needed.)

The other two group winners will play the semi-final Sunday morning.

All eight other teams will play a consolation games Sunday against a team from one of the other groups, to ensure the teams in the small group of three teams get a third game.
