If you’ve ever had a child at Le Bonheur, you’ve experienced Bunny Lane.

On their way to the OR, every child passes down a hallway lined with stuffed animals, toys and games, and they get to pick something that will be waiting for them after their procedure.

It’s hard to express how special this moment is. Your little angel is seconds away from leaving your side for the unknown and they’re scared in ways that make you feel helpless as their protector.

Then they hit Bunny Lane and their eyes light up. The spell is broken. They’re still nervous, but that stuffed animal or toy truck distracts them enough to let the warmth and professionalism of the Le Bonheur medical team do their magic.

In 2024, Bunny Lane needed our help!  They were running a little low on options for bigger kids.  Things like board games, books and Barbies.

So we set up a donation box at Rylee’s Run 5k and our runners stepped in and filled the gap. They dropped in dozens of gifts that brought some fun (and a few key moments of distraction) to those nervous kids who needed it.
